He is Canadian by nationality and believes in Christianity. He completed his early schooling from West Hill Collegiate Institute and Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
After that, he left his studies to pursue his professional career. During his childhood, he also attended the services of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. He also smoked marijuana and began using ecstasy, oxycodone, Xanax, cocaine, psilocybin and ketamine when he was just eleven years old.
