Ad.fly is URL shortener that you can use to shorten long links into smaller links. You can make money when users click your adf.ly link.
How does Ad.fly make money?
Ad.fly makes money because they have a lot of members (Publishers) that have registered accounts with them, those members want to make money, hence those members have the ability to refer a lot of users to adf.ly using their shortened ad.fly link. Now this means that Ad.fly has a lot of web traffic, now what do they do with all this web traffic. Advertisers like Jumia, bet9ja, nairabet e.t.c want to buy a lot of cheap traffic to bring new users to register to their site, since they want new users to their site. They will pay ad.fly some amount to send traffic to their site. For Instance, Jumia will pay adf.ly 10 USD for 10,000 Nigeria users/traffic because the more users they have visiting their site the more potential sales they will make.
How does the Ad.fly members make money?
The ad.fly members like you and me make money when an advertiser like Jumia pays adf.ly 10usd for 10,000 users.
Now our job is to send 10,000 users to Jumia using our Adfly short link, if we can do that we can make money.
Adfly take 50% of the advertiser’s payment, so that means we will earn 5 usd for 10,000 Nigerian user/ traffic
How Can an Ad.fly member get a lot of users and make money with ad.fly
There are many ways to get users to click your ad.fly link, but the most effective is using the ad.fly link to shorten a link to downloadable content, like books, movies, any digital content.
You don’t need to go into piracy to make money from downloadable content, you just need to own the content. For example, You could create a pdf of a guide on how to prepare for IELTS exam and shrink the download link with adf.ly so whenever anybody wants to download your pdf you will make money. Now you need to create hundreds of valuable pdfs like that and share to be able to make tangible money.
It takes a long while but if you can be consistent for 1yr, those links you created within 1 yr can continually make you money for the next decade. For example, I Joined Ad.fly in 2018 and created an ad.fly link up till February 2019. Since February 2019 I haven’t created any new adf.ly link but I keep making money with my previous ad.fly link up to date.

From the screenshot above you can see how much I have made via ad.fly, Kindly Note I only created short links for a few months, the reason my earnings increased was that I began to have more users download my downloadable content. For example, If I have 1 adf.ly short link and 10,000 users click on it, I will make more than someone that has 100 short links but get only about 200 clicks in total for all his short link.
