Zoe Saldana was Born on 19 June 1978, in Passaic, New Jersey. She was brought up and raised in an upper-middle-class family in Passaic, New Jersey, United States. She holds an American by nationality and has her belief in the Christian religion. She spends most of her childhood in Jackson Heights, New York and after the death of her father, they moved to the Dominican Republic.
She enrolled herself at Newtown High School in New York City, United States from where she completed her early schooling. After that, she left her studies and attended the ECOS Espacio de Danza Academy, where she got professional training in different dance forms but mainly learned ballet dance forms. After her return from the Dominican Republic, she joined a theatre group named Faces and worked in several plays, and also worked for another theatre group named New York Youth Theatre. She also has three siblings, her two younger sisters’ names are Cisley Saldana and Mariel Saldana. Her brother’s name is Nipo.
Zoe Saldana is married. She is married to Marco Perego Saldana who is a popular Italian artist.
