Ruth Kadiri is a renowned Nigerian actress, film producer, and screenwriter. She happens to be one of the most sought-after movie scriptwriters in Nigeria. Ruth Kadiri graduated from the University of Lagos where she studied mass communication. Also, she studied Business Administration at Yaba College Of Technology, Lagos. EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Ruth Kadiri  From Benin City, Edo State, the actress completed both her primary and secondary education. She graduated from Yaba College of Technology in Yana, Lagos State, with a National Diploma in Business Administration. Later, she obtained a Bachelor of Mass Communication from the University of Lagos in Nigeria.

After completing her academic education, Kadiri entered Nollywood and steadily advanced her profession. She is currently a producer, playwright, and actress. The Boys Cot movie included Ruth’s debut performance.

CAREER

The actress revealed that her passion for acting started in the church, and this explains why she sees her career as an obligation to God.As far back as her days in secondary school days, she had begun writing stories. This was even before she began attending auditions for movie roles. Her first audition was at the Wale Adenuga Studios where she met a friend, Victor Eze, who had a writing school. She attended his school and graduated. Subsequently, she wrote her first script, ‘Wild and Dirty,’ and after that, she continued to write some more until she started getting roles in movies that used her scripts.One of her first movies was, ‘Boy’s Cot’, where she starred alongside Nonso Diobi, Uche Jombo, Jim Iyke and Mike Ezuruonye.

The actress has featured in close to a hundred movies since then. She has written and co-written several movies, some of which she has featured in. These include Matters Arising, Heart of a Fighter, Ladies Men, Sincerity, First Class, and Over the Edge.Ruth is also a philanthropist. She launched her own foundation called Ruth Kadiri Kids which was set up with the objective of helping the underprivileged children to achieve their goals and dreams through financial donations and inspirational lectures.

PERSONAL LIFE

Ruth Kadiri is a wife and mother of two kids. She tied the knots with the love of her life in 2018. It is believed that the couple had a private traditional wedding since they have never shared its details or photos with the public. Ruth Kadiri’s child, Reign Ezerika, was born on 21st August 2019.

The actress is married to Mr. Ezerika. She shared a photo of her engagement ring on Instagram in December 2017 and captioned it with the following words:

“Merry Christmas, world.” @ 12:15 am 25 December 2017; I consented to the man who makes me completely whole. My father, my buddy, my brother, my preacher, my pervert, and my confidante in gossip. and my soon-to-be hubby. God speed to you and protect you for my sake.

On the occasion of their first wedding anniversary, Ruth posted her husband’s photo on social media for the first time. Being your wife is very serene, she said on the kissing shot she had pinned. I adore being here. Cheers to our anniversary!
