Berlinda Addardey, popularly known as Berla Mundi, (born 1 April 1988) is a Ghanaian media personality, voice artist, ex-beauty queen, and humanitarian. She is one of the leading presenters in the industry and has hosted many TV and reality shows. she has positioned herself as a youth leader and developed an interest in youth advocacy and sustainable development projects.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Berla Mundi was born to the Addardeys in Ghana. She was delivered in a private hospital on the 1st of April 1988. Her parents gave her her first name, Berlinda. While the nickname, Berla was given to her by her close friends. She was raised in a Christian household and spent her formative years in Accra. A very inquisitive and outspoken lady from her childhood, she had always aspired to be a TV presenter. She had great admiration for the hosts of popular shows she watched while growing up and dreamt of becoming like them. Her love for the screen made her pursue a career in Journalism.

Berla Mundi studied at St. Theresa School and Achimota School for her secondary school education. She bagged a degree in Linguistics and Psychology from the University Of Ghana. She is an alumnus of the Ghana Institute Of Journalism. An education enthusiast, she studied French at Alliance Francais.

CAREER

Before joining the media space, Berla Mundi was a contestant in the 2010 beauty pageant dubbed Miss Malkia. She finished the competition in second position, which gave her enough exposure to the industry. Berla then started working for GHOne TV, one of the largest entertainment channels in Ghana.

At the EIB Network, she had different roles, including hosting shows like Rhythmz live. She also became a lead presenter at GHOne TV for eight years. During that period, she served as the Ghanaian co-host for Africa’s syndicated talk show, Moments with Mo for two years. Berla conducted interviews with top personalities and businesses in different industries in the country and across the continent.

After working for GHOne TV, she left the media house and joined TV3 in 2019. She took on a new role of being the host of The New Day at Media General, one of the biggest TV morning shows in Ghana. The media personality also launched The Day Show.

The gorgeous media personality Berla Mundi resides in a beautiful mansion in Accra, Ghana. She also owns a fleet of nice cars. She is the Founder and CEO of Mundi Media Network. A versatile journalist, she is also a Radio Host with a number of shows to her credit.
