Chloe Bailey is an American singer and actress who is famous for being one-half of the singing duo ‘Chloe x Halle’. The band is known for its contemporary genre-bending music. Since their arrival on the music scene, Chloe and her sister Halle have managed to achieve major successes, which includes two ‘Grammy’ nominations and the privilege of being the opening acts of Beyoncé’s ‘The Formation World Tour’ and ‘On the Run II Tour’. Chloe Bailey was born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA on July 1, 1998. Her full name is Chloe Elizabeth Bailey. Her father’s name is Doug Bailey and her mother is called Courtney Bailey. Her sister Halle Bailey is also a singer and actress.

Their father quit his job to become their manager. She also has a younger brother. Chloe was homeschooled in Los Angeles. She also attained her General Educational Development certificate after she graduated from 10th grade. She started learning the cello and violin while she was being homeschooled in Atlanta. She also learned to play the piano from YouTube tutorials. Chloe’s passion for music served as an inspiration to her younger sister Halle. After seeing the sisters’ musical progress, their father Doug Bailey quit his day job and became their manager so that the girls could perform all over Atlanta. Around this time, they realized that they were meant to become professional musicians

Chloe along with her sister Halle started to create music numbers in the beginning. They were engaged in creating covers of famous pop songs. They used to upload those creations to their YouTube channel, where thousands of fans appreciated their efforts. Chloe started her professional career with EP ‘Sugar Symphony’, which was released on April 29, 2016. The same year both sisters made appearances in Beyonce’s hit ‘Lemonade’.
