Ava Sambora is an American actor and model. She is the only child of Hollywood actor Heather Locklear and her former husband, Richie Sambora, the lead guitarist of the rock band ‘Bon Jovi.’ An ‘Alpha Phi member’ from ‘Loyola Marymount University,’ Ava has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. She came under the spotlight at the age of 12, when she walked the runway for her father’s fashion line. She later became a bikini model. She has campaigned for ‘Teen Vogue’ and a packaged drinking water brand. Her acting credits include the comedy film ‘This Is 40,’ the web series ‘Summer Break,’ and ‘Good Luck Charlie.

Ava was born Ava Elizabeth Sambora, on October 4, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, to Hollywood diva Heather Locklear, and her former husband, ‘Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. She graduated from She went to Viewpoint High School in Calabasas, California, and completed her studies in 2015. Later, she joined Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies in May 2020.
CAREER
Ava Elizabeth Sambora started acting and modeling from a young age. Modeling career her first modeling opportunity came in 2010. At only 13 years old, she modeled for her father’s clothing line called White Trash Beautiful at the Los Angeles Fashion Weekend.
In 2015, the model appeared in Teen Vogue. She also modeled for 138 Water, a drinking water brand. She participated in bikini modeling for Baes and Bikinis, a swimwear brand designed by Stephanie Princi in 2016. Ava was endorsed as the brand ambassador for the swimwear brand and modeled for it in 2017.
Besides being a model, she is also an actress, just like her mother. Even though she has not had many acting roles, she is a talented actress with a promising acting career.
