Police Submit Autopsy Result Carried Out on Late Gospel Singer’s Osinachi Nwachukwu Body

An autopsy carried out on the body of late gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu has been concluded,

 

 

The Nigeria Police Force has also quickly forwarded the result to the department responsible for prosecution in the ministry of justice

Osinachi’s death sparked outrage across Nigeria The untimely death of the famous gospel singer on Friday, April 8 was allegedly linked to the husband, Peter Nwachukwu.

Peter was said to have had a habit of pummeling his wife, even in front of their kids, at any given opportunity.

The report is expected to send Peter to jail, as the Nigerian government had earlier vowed to ensure he is prosecuted if found guilty.

FG vows to ensure late gospel singer Osinachi gets justice Minister of Women Affairs Dame Pauline Tallen said this in a statement she personally signed and sent on Monday, April 11.

Dame Tallen said Peter Nwachukwu, the husband of the late popular gospel artiste, will be prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others, lamenting the rise in cases of domestic abuse in the country is unacceptable.
