Former NBA star Derek Fisher and reality star Gloria Govan have finally tied the knot three years after their engagement.
The “Basketball Wives” star, who is the ex-wife of retired NBA player Matt Barnes, and Derek Fisher, a former NBA basketball player turned Los Angeles Sparks head coach got married on Saturday at Cielo Farms in Malibu, California.
For the big day, Govan wore a curve-hugging gown with lace panels and beading around the waist by Monique Lhuillier. Karla Daniels created Govan’s chic up-do, while David Rodriguez was the artist behind the bride’s makeup.
They were supposed to get wed in April 2021 but the pandemic caused a delay.
In a recent interview with People, Govan said she and Fisher started planning their wedding after they got engaged three years ago, but they had to cancel the wedding because of the health crisis.
She said:”There were times we thought we should have a Zoom wedding instead of waiting…”
Govan shares twin sons Carter Kelly and Isaiah Michael with Barnes. Meanwhile, Derek has four children with his ex-wife, Candace – sons Drew and Marshall; and daughters, Chloe and Tatum.
